We would like to let you know a few details about our Golf Club, things that we can offer you if you already play golf or if you are a total beginner. It’s a beautiful Parkland course with a SSS 71, a challenging but fair course with fairly easy walking.
Birstall are a very friendly club especially welcoming to new members. We run competitions through out the year, running regular medals and Cup competitions as well as our Opens. There is always somebody wanting a social game too for the less competitive ladies. We play every Tuesday whatever the weather, and most Saturday afternoons when Every year we have a weekend away, normally at the end of the season (something to look forward to ladies!)  The Lady Captain chooses where we go and about 20 of us go and play golf for a long weekend, with two or three rounds of golf and lots of Laughs.
The Ladies Section run a thriving Bridge club too, playing Monday afternoons and Tuesday evenings. This is very popular having had great success recently with the Birstall Bridge Luncheon. Come and have a go we have experienced ladies to help you.
Our Club it not only great for golf but Social events too, regularly having social nights like Burns night, the Annual Ball, Captains In & Out Dance, Disco’s these are but to name a few.
 
We are just working at getting some golf lessons organised for new lady members this summer watch this space. Come and have a go, you will love our club.  we all meet up at 2.30 in the summer and mix and match our partners.
